Ultrasound examination (sonography)

A non-invasive procedure that uses sound waves to visualize soft tissue structures, organs and blood flow in small animals such as cats and dogs. Particularly important in diagnostics for the examination of the heart (cardiology), abdominal organs (liver, kidneys, spleen, pancreas) and pregnancies.
