Toxoplasmosis

A parasitic infection caused by the pathogen Toxoplasma gondii. Particularly relevant in cats, as they are the primary hosts, but also in humans and other animals (e.g., dogs, pigs). The infection can lead to malformations in pregnant women and is transmissible through contact with cat feces or raw meat.
