Parvovirus

Acute, highly contagious viral disease that primarily affects dogs (Canis lupus familiaris). It leads to severe diarrhea, vomiting, dehydration, and can be fatal in puppies. The disease is caused by the parvovirus and is easily preventable by vaccination.
