Kidney disease (nephropathy)

Chronic or acute disease of the kidneys that can occur in animals such as dogs, cats, horses, and cattle. It leads to a reduced ability of the kidneys to filter waste from the blood, resulting in uremia, fluid retention, and electrolyte imbalances.
