Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP)

An often fatal inflammation of the abdominal and thoracic cavities caused by the feline coronavirus. It manifests as fever, loss of appetite, weight loss, and fluid accumulation in the body cavities. Diagnosis is difficult, and treatment is usually supportive.
