Bacterial infection

A bacterial infection is a disease caused by bacteria. In animals, it can affect various organs, e.g., skin, respiratory tract, or digestive tract. Symptoms vary depending on the site of infection, but inflammation, fever, and secretions are common. Treatment is usually with antibiotics.
